VEGETEXCO Established in 1976 in Ho Chi Minh City, the III Fruit and Vegetable Export-Import Company (the predecessor of Vegetexco Joint Stock Company) was founded. History of Development

1976

Founded III Fruit and Vegetable Export-Import Company (the predecessor of Vegetexco Joint Stock Company).

1977 – 1993

The company took on the role of organizing research, participating in planning and developing systems for producing and supplying vegetable and fruit seeds in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces, and establishing specialized and intensive vegetable and fruit cultivation areas with high yield and quality.

1993 – 2003

III Fruit and Vegetable Export-Import Company was a state-owned enterprise registered under business license number 102629 issued by the Economic Arbitration Board on April 27, 1993.

2004

The company was renamed to Vegetexco Joint Stock Company (the Company), marking an important development when it was authorized by the state to transition to a joint-stock company format according to Decision No. 1245/QĐ-/BNN-TCCB signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on May 13, 2004. The Company officially began operating as a joint-stock company on November 12, 2004.
